just woke up from a "nap" ... slept from 10am till now .... that's the longest stretch of sleep I got for the entire week ......

mommy's gone ape over the mass of redbull and coffee cans I have lying around in my room .... this current project is finally gone live ... the cheque's coming in April 1st ... *woots ! ....

been helluva week ... I've been irritable and cranky and snapping away at everyone for the past week .... sorry for the pilot yesterday ...

crab wasn't very good..

but the lard-laden braised pork, durian paste and giant seabass was worth the price..

also, the poached chilled prawn was also very good..

hawker hurricane, spitfire and eventually the Lancasters and B17s bombed the hell out of the factories..

ultimately, it's about producing stuff to fight the war with.. and the allies destroyed the infrastructure of the axis.. and that was it..

war of attrition..

the soviets churned out huge numbers of T34s.. while the germans could not because their Tiger, although a better tank, was precision made and took forever to build one..

I just learnt this in class not too long ago....

The Spitfire was one of the best fighters of WWII, owing to its ellipitical-wing shape which allowed it a high lift-to-drag ratio. However, the difficulties of manufacturing an ellipse with precision contributed to its high cost.

Nowadays that design philosophy is obsolete, considering that other design achievements like variable chords and angles of attack across the wingspan can simulate the elliptical wing.

The darker, more grounded side of me says not to apportion too much credit where empty vessels are concerned.

MPB has to go to KL today

He told me they booked him into Pan Pacific KLIA Hotel

His flight is at 10am. He called me at 8.55am to ask me to book him a hotel BECAUSE NO RESERVATIONS WAS DONE!!!! Somemore budget around RM 200.

KNS Pan Pacific KLIA Hotel is going at a min of RM 450 bucks.

Booked him in the city. The websites where like full occupancy or have ridiculas rates so I called them up and got him a room and another for his colleague at Royale Bintang (I love that hotel btw :P) RM238... slightly over budget but it's a room and the other ones I went to before are more expensive!!!

hi everybody, i am @ chengu now.

in the tour agency at this area where it was "closed" by the local police because of the sensitivity of the tibetan thingy.

now police presence is everywhere here.. kindda felt protected though..:)

i will be going to the mountain areas tmr for many days liao.

so there may not be any internet access..

the place here is grey, foggy, cold 13*c and colder at the mountain (may -2*C).....

looking forward to the road trip....a lot of walking, with my 2 bags...and if needed, we ride horse siah...

we may even go sleep in the local huts at the rural areas..

gotto go now.. i am using the tour agency pple computer...kekekek...

No wor this time I checked him like 3 - 4 times that they booked the hotel for him.

He told me that they booked him into Pan Pacific KLIA

But hor just now he called me at 9am when his flight is at 10.15am and told me that they just told him they didn't book the hotel
